Choose Revizi if you mainly want free, curriculum-labelled flashcards and quizzes across Australian states. Choose Sylligence if you study QCE and want notes, flashcards, past questions, generated practice, feedback, mistake review and ATAR planning connected. Sylligence is expanding into VCE, but Revizi currently publishes broader interstate curriculum coverage.

This is not a winner-takes-all comparison. Revizi does one common job with less friction. Sylligence covers more of the study week, but its current curriculum depth is concentrated in Queensland.

Where Revizi is stronger

Revizi's public page lists seven senior curricula, nine subjects and more than 250 topics. Students select a curriculum, subject and topic, then study pre-made flashcards or upload notes to generate their own.

That breadth matters. A VCE, HSC, WACE, SACE, TCE or ACT student can see their curriculum named on the public site today. Sylligence cannot yet make the same depth claim outside QCE.

Revizi is also easier to recommend when the problem is simply recall. If you already have good notes and exam resources but avoid making flashcards, its free curriculum-labelled decks remove setup work. Spaced repetition and short quizzes make it suitable for small daily sessions.

You may prefer Revizi if:

• your state is not Queensland;
• flashcards and quick quizzes are the main tools you need;
• you want to start free with minimal setup;
• you do not need a connected past-paper, feedback and planning workflow.

Where Sylligence is stronger

Sylligence is designed for the handover between study tasks. A QCE student can learn a syllabus point, test recall, attempt an exam question, receive feedback, save a mistake and generate targeted follow-up practice without rebuilding the topic in another app.

Its current QCE bank contains 197 papers and 1,663 authentic past questions across 15 subjects. Those questions sit alongside:

• syllabus-linked notes and curated learning resources;
• flashcards and Rapid Revision;
• content practice and generated question sets;
• AI tutoring and assignment feedback;
• mistake review and targeted worksheets;
• progress and ATAR planning.

That is the reason to pay for Sylligence. It is not that a Sylligence flashcard is inherently better than every Revizi card. It is that the card can be one step in a broader study loop.

Sylligence is used by thousands of students. This is an owner-confirmed product figure, not independent evidence of better academic outcomes.

You may prefer Sylligence if:

• you study QCE and currently switch between several tools;
• past questions and topic filters matter as much as flashcards;
• feedback should lead to saved mistakes and follow-up practice;
• you want learning resources and ATAR planning in the same account;
• you would rather pay for one broader system than assemble a stack.

What does "all in one" actually save?

Using separate specialist tools can work well. Anki or Revizi can handle retrieval, official PDFs can supply exams, a general AI assistant can explain a mistake, and a spreadsheet can track progress.

The cost is not only subscription money. It is the repeated setup between those tools:

• finding the same syllabus point in each app;
• deciding whether a shared resource matches your course;
• moving a mistake into a separate review system;
• writing prompts that restore the missing subject context;
• choosing the next task without a shared progress record.

Sylligence's all-in-one position is strongest when those handovers are already a recurring nuisance. If they are not, the simpler free app may be the more sensible choice.

What is available outside Queensland?

Sylligence is expanding into VCE, beginning with past-paper work. The wider VCE library, including flashcards, is still being prepared. HSC, WACE and SACE are planned after the Victorian rollout.

That roadmap should not be mistaken for current coverage. Victorian and interstate students should check Sylligence coverage by state before subscribing. Revizi has the clearer published curriculum breadth today.

Our verdict

For flashcards and quizzes alone, start with Revizi's free tier. It asks less of the student and covers more Australian curricula publicly.

For a QCE student whose real problem is a fragmented stack, Sylligence is the better all-in-one investment. It carries the topic from learning to retrieval, exam practice, feedback, mistake review and planning.

Try the task you actually repeat. If you need to memorise a topic, run one session in Revizi. If you need to learn it, practise it, inspect an error and decide what to do next, run that complete cycle in Sylligence. The better product will become obvious faster than it will from a feature list.
